Fall Basic 2023

A 28 hour course, free to those living or working in Metro Fire’s service area.

Deadline to register October 1st 2023

Course begins October 12th 2023

CERT Basic Training will provide you with information on emergency preparedness and teach you how to safely protect yourself, your loved ones, and your community when disaster strikes.

Basic Class 2023-02 will be taught in Citrus Heights over the course of the following days and times:

Thursday, October 12th: 6 PM to 10 PM
Saturday, October 14th: 8 AM to 5 PM

Thursday, October 19th: 6 PM to 10 PM
Saturday, October 21st: 8 AM to 5 PM

AND

Saturday, October 28th: 9 AM to noon

This is a 28 hour course and attendance at all five sessions is required to obtain a certificate of completion.

Please fill out one registration form for each person who will be taking the class. You may share the link with others who may be interested. There is an option on the form to indicate if you would rather be put on the list for Basic 2024-01 (which will be taught in March of 2024).You may also indicate that you are no longer interested and would like to be taken off the list completely.

Dead end streets and empty lots are a magnet for illegal dumping.  The county wants to keep our area beautiful.  All you have to do is report any illegal dumping by calling 311.

Friendly and knowledgeable customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to answer questions, route calls, and manage cases for verification and resolution. Never remember another County number again…call 311!
